About Us
The Firm
Appleby & Co. Solicitors was established in 2009 to provide a professional, and friendly, solicitors practice in Scarborough and the surrounding area.

The idea is simple – an affordable mobile solicitor service. The firm was set up by Jessica Appleby, a local resident who is keen to meet the legal needs of the community. The practice is operated from Jessica’s home and the consequential low overheads allow the firm to have an affordable pricing policy offering value for money coupled with excellent customer service. The firm is not VAT registered and consequently there is no VAT charged on our fees.

The firm operates a totally mobile service - home visits or appointments in your care home, place of residence or at work are all possible, allowing services to be accessible to everyone.

The firm is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and a copy of our professional rules can be accessed at www.sra.org.uk
